Nashawena Press focuses on producing beautiful books about books and book culture.

 

The Press was founded by the father-daughter team of admitted bibliophiles Nicholas Basbanes and Barbara Basbanes Richter, both lifelong champions of great literature, book people, and book culture and dedicated to celebrating the written word. Nashawena Press is the latest manifestation of that gentlest of maladies.

 

We believe that books are not just objects but works of art to be appreciated in their own right. That is why we take great care in designing and producing every one of our books.
